About us...
Island Transit, Inc. was formed in 1999 as a shipping company providing cargo service to the small, under-served islands in the central Bahamas. The island freight business has changed hands several times, but M/V Retriever continues to carry cargo from Miami to some of the most beautiful little cays in the Bahamas.
